Derma Veil Biocompatible Biodegradable Injectable Filler Composed of Poly-L-Lactic Acid
Derma Veil® is biocompatible (does not harm the body), biodegradable (broken down or metabolized by the body) injectable filler composed of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Derma Veil involves injecting poly-L-lactic acid into the skin and underlying tissues and stimulates the body's own collagen.
The volume of Derma Veil® needed is different depending on the area and condition treated. Clients have to await the collagen growth that can be seen starting at 8 weeks. The gradual effect of treatment with Derma Veil may last up to 24months. However, individual results may vary. Areas of treatment will require multiple sessions, usually multiple sessions at 20to 30days intervals for optimal correction. Because individual responses to Derma Veil may vary, the exact number of treatment sessions required cannot be predicted with complete accuracy.
